We are proud to support the Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter, which was established in 1896 and helps thousands of lost, unwanted, neglected, abused and abandoned animals every year.  Their objective is the promotion of kindness and prevention of cruelty to animals.

The amazing team reunite lost animals with their owners and find loving new homes for those no longer wanted. They cover the whole of the North East from two shelters within Newcastle, Claremont Road and Benton North Farm.

The Centre is not currently open for visitors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They are, however, rehoming our animals via online applications.
